I plan media like it's meant to perform, not just run.
Five years turning budgets, audience data, and partnership terms into growth that shows up on the dashboard: media plans across 10 brands for a global agency, a 15% sales lift for an early-stage startup, and USD 1.95M mobilized across 25+ corporate-innovation programs. Biomedical engineer by training, media strategist by trade. I like evidence more than opinions.
Curious about people. Allergic to talk without action. At my best when the challenge is big.
Tom: the loyalty layer that gave a vending machine a memory, built entirely in-app.
As Growth Manager I owned retention for a product with no built-in way to reward a returning customer: a vending machine. The only lever was the purchase data and app already in front of users.
Field research surfaced three buyer types: singles buying out of necessity, mothers who forgot lunch, families topping up a meal. All bought out of a specific, occasional need. The job was to make it a habit.
A reward on every purchase, built to pull toward the next one. Tom, a family-warm mascot instead of a youth-coded loyalty voice, since 80% of users were families. A streak-and-points system converting to cashback, running 100% in-app so it launched identically across every machine.
Ten teams, 350 people, one shared way to decide what's next.
Alpina came to Rockstart to evaluate a venture investment in Europe. That assessment surfaced a bigger opportunity: running that same discipline internally. Rockstart brought me in to lead the shift, and I took ownership of redesigning Alpina's internal innovation process end to end.
Ten teams, roughly 350 people, had no shared way to prioritize new products, track them, or decide what happened next. Promising projects kept stalling at the finance review because teams and finance were not speaking the same language.
I built a structured methodology across every team: clear KPIs and timelines, plus a data-based reporting process and dashboards so teams could show a project's potential in numbers finance trusted. Working with the product team, I ran design thinking and agile sessions to turn existing assets into new seasonal products grounded in real user knowledge.
Leadership adopted the framework company-wide, making it the standard process for every seasonal line. The clearest signal: Alpina's directors opened a dedicated corporate venture capital arm connecting team managers directly with Rockstart, restructuring how the company runs innovation.
Across industries, the instinct is the same: read the audience, then design for them.
One brand, two creative systems: warmth for the woman making the decision, evidence for the doctor confirming it.
As co-founder I owned brand creation and positioning for a scientific, PCR-based fertility diagnostic sold through doctors and labs, without losing sight of the woman actually going through it.
Women didn't want technical terms or an explanation of what a PCR test was. They wanted to feel supported, met with empathy on a hard path.
Two approaches, one brand: a consumer voice built on feeling, and a clinical voice built on evidence.
100% feeling-led messaging on Instagram, focused on what the result means rather than the mechanism behind it, narrowed to precise audience segments.
Scientific backing and clinical safety communicated through mailing and conferences, built around the impact on procedure efficacy.
Built inside Publicis Global Delivery's Planning team. No campaign data here, just the system.
Planning's process knowledge lived in scattered documents and specific people's heads, slowing onboarding and creating repeated questions, with real risk if someone left or changed roles.
A two-part system: a SharePoint built as the single source of truth for every process, and a Planning Agent inside Marcel AI, trained on that documentation, answering operational questions in real time instead of routing them to a person.
Centralized SOPs, templates, and process guides, replacing files scattered across people and folders.
An AI assistant trained on the team's documentation, answering operational questions in real time.
4.7/5 average team satisfaction, above the 4.0 target set at launch. Operational time saved is still early to quantify as adoption grows.
Five moves, one loop, repeated until it scales.
Bogotá to Abu Dhabi, one step at a time.
I'll be in Abu Dhabi in person from December 18 to January 18, and would welcome the chance to meet, interview, or just talk through the role face to face while I'm there.
